It’s Sunday–have you taken your walk yet?

No gym yesterday or today! Instead, a walk!

My boyfriend and I love to take advantage of decent weather and easy treading (only a few patches of ice) while we still can.

This is what I call STRESS RELIEF CARDIO. No target heart rate required! No set time, really, either.

Yesterday, approaching sunset, we got out there for a short (maybe 40-minute) walk through the neighborhood. It was a good walk. More than a stroll (too cold!) but nothing near a “power walk.”

Today, we went out after breakfast and got a good hour under our belts.

Felt great, despite the red noses!

It gave us a chance to get some physical activity in, to hold hands and “bond,” and to talk about our projects and goals.

And, as my Irish mom used to say, “to get outside and blow the stink out” of us!
